I was trying to write something earlier about the supposed liberal media bias, and how the Right complains about it in their daily talking points. The argument is that "everything is great" and the only reason we have perceieved problems overseas in Iraq, at home in our poorer communities, and throughout most of the global economy, is because the "liberal media bias" has it in for Republicans and Conservatives.
Oh yes, it's this same supposed liberal media bias that continues to pacify us with awards for the sexist woman on earth, in-depth articles on celebrity gossip, and insignificant acts in government that will have little, if any, affect our struggling communities and families.
Yup, the liberal media has it in for you red states. Remember to start making lists right now of all the liberals in your area. B/c when the day of reckoning is upon us, you'll be able to look in the eyes of your holy maker, Jesus Christ, (in Pat Robertson voice) "not the God of any of those other silly religions progressives are always talking about." No, you'll be able to walk right up to St. Peter and tell him the names of those who should be damned.
And don't forget that it's the media bias that's making up this ridiculous story about civil war in Iraq. I mean, we got it covered right? Really, does the liberal media have to always talk about how Allawai already said it's a civil war?
If you're a new reader, I hope you see the irony of this entry. If you're for the war, then fuck off. I'm seeing first hand the repercussions of the war in families, and I'm all the way in the United States. I couldn't even imagine what it must be like for the soldiers and the people who live in Iraq. Bring our troops home now and take them out of harm's way.
Here's something interesting.
